Trump Threatens to Revoke Rosie O'Donnell’s Citizenship
President Donald Trump reignited his long-standing feud with comedian Rosie O'Donnell by threatening to revoke her U.S. citizenship. On his Truth Social account, Trump wrote, “She is a Threat to Humanity and should remain in Ireland, if they want her.”
Constitutional experts quickly responded, labeling Trump’s threat as unconstitutional. Georgetown Law professor Steve Vladeck noted that “coercive expatriation” is extremely limited under U.S. law.

O'Donnell, who moved to Ireland shortly after Trump's 2021 reelection, responded on Instagram: “You want to revoke my citizenship? Go ahead and try, King Joffrey with a tangerine spray tan.”
The Trump-O'Donnell feud dates back to 2006 and has included years of public insults from both sides.
